Imagine you get a phone call in the middle of the night. It's your executive director calling: "I've hit the jackpot! I won the lottery and won't be coming in tomorrow. Or ever again. And by the way, the VP and I want to put you in the lead position!" You say "yes" and within a few short minutes you've increased your visibility, salary, responsibility, and stress level. You've got an hour to prepare before the VP presents you to your new team. You know you've got a lot of work ahead of you. What wisdom can we share that will best prepare you for this new adventure? We're glad you asked. We have just the thing!
