In this session, Farida Adam will share the strategies, learnings, and results of donor engagement initiativ es implemented at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University ( Toronto) over the past year. Through a whole team effort, leveraging existi ng digital resources, using data to drive strategy, and closely collaborati ng with teams across the faculty, the advancement team continued to deliver the "surprise and delight" in donor experiences in a completely virtual en vironment - and saw a measurable increase in donor engagement!
It wil l be interactive, with breakout rooms to allow for idea sharing in small gr oups.

Farida is the Associate Director of Development at the T ed Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University (Toronto, Canada). With experience from both American and Canadian Institutions, Farida brings toge ther a strong background in leading diversity and equity initiatives in hig her education and pairs it with more than 9 years of experience in donor re lations and stewardship. In her current role, Farida oversees the developme nt of new strategies and systems to support broad-based stewardship. This i ncludes online data collection from internal partners in order to provide o nline impact reporting for donors while working within the decentralized st ructure to provide a unique, timely and engaging donor experience. Farida received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Manchester Universit y and a Master’s of Public Affairs from Purdue University. | |
