Optional Excursion: City Museum and Gateway Arch Tram

Friday, October 5, 2:00–6:00 PM (Includes Travels and Tours)

This excursion is sold out!
If any spots open up, attendees will be notified via the conference mobile app, and you can sign up on site.

Join us to explore the City Museum and experience the iconic St. Louis Gateway Arch.

The City Museum is an eclectic mixture of children’s playground, funhouse, surrealistic pavilion, and architectural marvel made out of unique, found objects and an exhilarating 10-story slide. Head up to the Roof of the museum (weather permitting) for a Ferris wheel ride, the wide-and steep rope ramp slide, the stepping stone-festooned Splash Pond, and snack at the Rooftop Café.

The unique tram of the Gateway Arch will lift you 630 feet up to the top of the tallest man-made monument in the United States. Before reaching the top, trace the story of the Native Americans, explorers, pioneers, and rebels who made America possible through the six themed exhibit areas.

A bus will pick up all attendees from the St. Louis Union Station Hotel and return all attendees to the hotel after the excursion has concluded. There will be an optional dine-around for excursion attendees after the tours.

General details of the tour include:

2:00 PM Depart conference hotel
2:15–4:00 PM Explore the multi-level City Museum
4:15–5:45 PM Travel through the history of America and tram to the top of the Gateway Arch
