A strong partnership with your colleagues in advancement services can enhance the effectiveness of your donor relations program. Whether you're looking to streamline processes and reports or create unique tools to engage donors, learn more about how the University of Missouri Advancement Team has leveraged this partnership to better serve our donors.

Through this presentation, we will highlight three examples in an effort to illustrate how our partnership has allowed for us to find creative ways to serve our donors. From developing a web-based fund management system to launching a donor portal, we'll provide an overview of how these tools were developed, explain how we communicated with donors, and share data that demonstrates how these tools are being used by our donors.

About the Speakers:

Carin Huffman Grinch
Director, Donor Relations
University of Missouri

Carin Huffman Grinch joined the advancement team at the University of Missouri in October 2001. She spent 12 years in alumni relations prior to moving into her current role as the director of donor relations. Carin's team is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive donor relations initiatives as well as working with the academic units to strengthen their stewardship efforts. Carin is a graduate of the University of Missouri with bachelor's degrees in history and political science.

Stefanie Gray
Coordinator of Donor Recognition
University of Missouri

Stefanie Gray is the coordinator of donor relations at the University of Missouri. She is a proud MU graduate and has worked for her alma mater since 2009. In her donor relations role, Stefanie works on naming opportunities and scholarship stewardship, as well as advising the Mizzou Student Foundation. Stefanie has a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in educational leadership and policy analysis, both from the University of Missouri.
