Awards and Scholarships

International Stewardship Awards

ADRP has established the International Stewardship Awards (ISAs) as the premier forum for recognizing excellence and outstanding accomplishment in our field. We divide submissions based on a budget instead of just a category.

ADRP is honored to recognize outstanding achievement in the field of donor relations and stewardship through a series of annual and as-merited awards. The ADRP awards are designed to promote excellence and inspire creativity in all areas of donor relations and stewardship.

Sheryl A. Blair Scohlarships

Established in 2007 to honor the memory of former ADRP board member Sheryl Blair, The Sheryl A. Blair Scholarship includes a free annual membership and provides up to ten stipends of $1,000 to new and returning ADRP members. Since 2007, nearly 180 donor relations professionals have benefited from the Blair Scholarship. In 2022, the Blair Scholarships were revised to offer a more equitable, inclusive and fuller ADRP experience and to cover expenses associated with member opportunities within ADRP. These include but are not limited to: an annual membership, International and Regional Conferences (including travel), workshops, and other professional development opportunities related to ADRP. This effort aligns with ADRP’s goal to represent a wide range of organizations and professionals – especially those who have historically been underrepresented within ADRP’s membership.

Volunteer Service Award

The ADRP Volunteer Service Award recognizes a current member of ADRP who, through current and cumulative efforts, has generously contributed their time and energy to advance the mission of the Association and the profession. Nominees may be visible, or work “behind the scenes”; they may have done something that made others go “wow” or worked quietly over time, following through with commitments and achieving results. This award will be presented each year at the annual conference. The ADRP President selects the ADRP Volunteer Service Award recipient in consultation with the ADRP Board of Directors.

Founders Award

The ADRP Founders Award recognizes the highest ideals of the donor relations and stewardship profession. Recipients are individuals who, through a lifetime of work, have had a significant and inspiring impact on donor relations. The ADRP Founders Award is not an annual award, but rather, is an occasional award to recognize, in a singular way, exemplars within our field.
