Sharing a Gift of Hope – Ulysses Hsu
Description: Loma Linda University Health is in the midst of a $360 million fundraising effort – Vision 2020. A groundbreaking event was held in May asking the community to help build their new Adult and Children’s Hospital towers. As part of the event, Ulysses Hsu’s video was shown as an example of how ordinary acts of kindness make a big difference. Ulysses’ video is on the LLUH Vision 2020 website and has been used in social media. 

 

More to the Story
Description: Our video, More to the Story, was created to share the story of the impact of legacy giving at McMaster beginning with Senator William McMaster’s bequest, the gift that founded our University. The video features footage spanning across our campus, featuring areas impacted by several bequest donors, and is narrated by our Students Union executive who share the cumulative impact of bequest gifts to student awards, research and the McMaster libraries.

Description: This is UB’s annual fiscal-year end video from our VP for Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement that is sent to all donors (with valid email addresses) who made gifts to UB during the FY. We try to keep these videos short and to the point – we appreciate our donors and so do UB students!

 

2015 Gala/Blind Children's Learning Center V-Award
Description: The "2015 Gala/Blind Children's Learning Center V-Award" video was designed to recognize Gala honoree and long-time nonprofit partner, Blind Children's Learning Center (BCLC). The video captures the incredible impact that BCLC has on the lives of individuals and families coping with vision impairments. The Southern California College of Optometry at MBKU has provided optometric care for BCLC students for more than 25 years. We celebrate in this video a tremendously successful relationship.

President's Associates Scholarship Thank You
Description: This video was created as a ‘Thank You’ to our President’s Associates Scholarship donors. We wanted to show our donors how important their gifts are and how much our students appreciate them. The video premiered at out President’s Associates Ball and then was placed on social media and our website. We focused on what our students are doing because of the scholarship, a PA Scholar alumni success story and a thank you. 



Stewardship Video for Feinstein Institute
Description: This animation was created to illustrate the impact of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Feinstein's lead gift to the Feinstein Institute in 2005.  This lead gift lead to many discoveries and growth opportunities. 


NYU 2016 Scholarship Luncheon video
Description: This video was presented at New York University’s annual scholarship luncheon in April 2016. We use videos at our luncheons to demonstrate to our donors how they are helping NYU students achieve their dreams. The student testimonials and campus images also convey a sense of the unique NYU student experience. The video was also emailed to those donors who were unable to attend the luncheon and is featured on our YouTube channel.

Description: When thousands of Ohio State students receive their degrees on May 8, they will hear the jubilant sound of the Victory Bell. It will ring out in triumphant celebration of their incredible achievement. Description: After losing her mother, sixth grader Imani found a home away from home at the Y. Through the love and support of her after school counselors and dance instructors, she continues to overcome obstacles and be a positive light to all those around her. Description: Kenyon College Newman's Own Scholarship recipient, Eryn Powell, Shares the story of her path to Kenyon. The video details the obstacles she has encountered and what she plans to do at Kenyon in the future.

Description: This is our dancing video to show the fun side and engage the youth of PNG. You used this song & dancing to show that all types of people donate. 

 

Scholarship Students Say Thank-You!
Description: This video was created as a way of saying thank-you to donors to our named scholarships program. It was our first time creating something like this, and it was shown at our annual scholarship celebration in April 2016. We profiled five students, asking them each questions about what they love most about Ursinus and how the college has changed their lives. Each student was also asked to say a personal thank-you directly to their donor.

 

Brittany Feldman and Kayla Canedo Camp Scholarship Fund Video
Description: This video honors Kayla Canedo and Brittany Feldman, YMCA Camp High Harbour counselors, who were killed in a tragic car accident along with two other UGA students in April 2016. In their memory, more than $58,000 was given to their personal YMCA fundraising pages. The Y established the Brittany Feldman and Kayla Canedo Camp Scholarship Fund which will send two kids to camp each year in perpetuity. This video recognizes their legacy and lasting impact. 

 

Rush's Road Home Program Event - Patient Testimonial
Description: For our veterans, the battle may be over, but their journey has just begun. Transitioning from military to civilian life is often very challenging and these invisible wounds of war are complex and can impede the ability to reintegrate at home and at work. To connect this important message to actual people, we produced this video that was shown at a benefit for Rush’s Road Home Program: The Center for Veterans and Their Families.

 

College Presidents Never Sleep
Description: This is the second year that we’ve spoofed a film and featured our president.  It’s an opportunity to show a playful side of President Glotzbach during what is otherwise a rather formal donor recognition dinner.  In 2015 the theme of the event was 50 years of donor support, and we used a “then and now” storyline throughout.  The film noir aspect of the film against the backdrop of the current campus hit the perfect tone.

 

Faith to Endure and Flourish
Description: In celebration of closing our capital campaign one year early, after exceeding our goal by $15M, we felt it was appropriate to invite a special guest to say thank you to our prestigious donors. Who better to speak to our mission and the fulfillment of our vision than our founder, Abbot Bernard H. Pennings, O. Praem. (1861 – 1955)? This video was animated from a familiar photograph and introduced by our college president.

Description: This video plays on the confirmation landing page after anyone gives a gift of any amount through the giving.tulane.edu website. Its purpose is to give our donors an immediate senese of gratitude for their generosity and to communicate that our institution regards stewardship and appreciation as of the utmost importance.

Description: AARP Foundation's "Wherever..." video highlights the many ways in which AARP Foundation helps low-income older adults (50 and older). We work  to ensure older adults have nutritious food, affordable housing, a steady income, and strong and sustaining bonds. We collaborate with individuals and organizations who share our commitment to innovation and our passion for problem-solving. AARP Foundation creates and advances effective solutions that help struggling older adults transform their lives.  

 

High Promise Scholars
Description: Oregon State University is kicking off an initiative to increase graduation rates by providing additional financial support and engaging learning opportunities. The High Promise Scholars Program, launched this spring, awards "bonus" scholarships to freshmen identified as at risk of dropping out. The video highlights students who received this scholarship, focusing on their reaction immediately after the award ceremony. The video was shared with donors who contribute to scholarships as well as with other donors. 

 

Vicky’s story: Stripes® Stores helps kids be kids
Description: “Vicky’s story” showcases 3-year old Vicky Castillo’s cancer journey and experience at MD Anderson’s Children’s Cancer Hospital.  Vicky is the face of the Stripes® Stores Celebrate Tomorrow’s 2016 campaign, in which more than 700 Stripes® Stores raise money for the hospital. She is featured on all the campaign collateral. In addition to showcasing her story, the video is designed to thank Stripes employees for their past fundraising efforts and inspire this year’s endeavor.
