About the Webinar

Should organizations set gift minimums when it comes to creating new endowed funds? Many organizations may waffle on this question. The larger the gift the greater the impact, of course, but no one wants to turn away gifts or appear to exclude those without the deepest pockets either. Well, stop waffling because the correct answer is "yes, you should". When set properly and in parallel with thoughtful communication strategies, gift minimums can have a very positive impact. They raise your donor's sights and result in faster fund growth, more impactful reporting, and reduced workload on staff. They can be set without hurting existing donor relationships or impeding new ones. This session will discuss the process through which the team at Wilbraham & Monson Academy developed gift minimums, the strategies for communicating about them with donors, and the measurable impact they have had.
